<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\nOn Holy Thursday, each parish held separate but deeply meaningful liturgical observances. Led by Lisandro Albor and Anna Monique, the youth from the confirmation program played an integral role in bringing to life the Gospel passage depicting Jesus washing the feet of his disciples, as well as presenting a poignant Living Stations of the Cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, it was on Good Friday that the communities of St. Isabel’s and St. Mary’s truly came together in a powerful display of unity. Both parishes collaborated to host the Living Stations of the Cross, the veneration of the Holy Cross, the Sermon of the Seven Words, the solemn procession of silence, and the Holy Sepulcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Living Stations of the Cross commenced at St. Mary’s parking lot, winding its way to St. Isabel’s, where the solemn rites of veneration and sermon took place. The procession of silence retraced the steps of the Way of the Cross, culminating back at St. Mary’s parking lot, while the Holy Sepulcher found its place of honor in St. Mary’s Parish Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On Holy Saturday, the celebrations returned to each parish individually, providing parishioners with an opportunity for personal reflecton on the significance of Christ’s resurrection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers whose dedication made these Holy Week celebrations possible, with a special acknowledgment of the nearly 30 altar servers whose presence enriched the liturgical services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the unity of faith and the bonds of community, the Holy Week celebrations at St. Isabel’s and St. Mary’s Salesian Parishes stand as a testament to the enduring spirit of devotion and fellowship that characterizes our congregation.
