Updates from Corpus Christi, St Bridget’s Chinese Catholic Community, and Don Bosco Technical Institute<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corpus Christi Church<\/strong> held a First Holy Communion Retreat and celebration of Reconciliation, Saturday, May 4, 2024. After two years of preparation 33 young people (ages 8-12) will celebrate their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 12th. Fr. Thom Thodukulam (bottom right) , Fr. Ed Liptak (bottom left), and Fr Tom Juarez heard confessions. Fr. Tom Juarez, SDB (top left) led the FHC Retreat and re-enactment of the Last Supper. 2nd year Religion Teachers are Yamilet Ortega, Regina Battad, and Sr. Mary Link ( Religious Education, Coordinator).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 4-5, 2024, St. Bridget Chinese Catholic Church held a Province Pastoral Council Leadership Formation Workshop facilitated by the pastor, Fr. Peter Pong, SDB, and Sr. Maria Lai, CSJ, Director of Religious Education. Parish leaders participated in large group sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n
