San Francisco, CA<\/strong> – The Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club Musical Theatre Program performed “Legally Blonde Jr”<\/em><\/strong> three times over the weekend of June 7th through the 9th. Theatre has been a longtime staple activity for youth at The Club. This was their first live musical performance in the auditorium since the pandemic. Over fifty kids participated as actors, chorus members, stagehands, and ushers. Many of the participants also helped design and construct the sets as part of The Club’s theatre technology class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank You Randy for 45 Years of Service<\/strong> — On Monday, June 10th, 2024, the Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club Executive Director, Randy DeMartini, was surprised at the board of directors meeting with a celebratory cake and a surprise visit by five budding Club thespians from “Legally Blonde Jr” dressed as Elvis impersonators. Club Chief Operating Officer, Sherri Hughston orchestrated the surprise to congratulate Randy for forty-five years of service to The Club, its kids, and the Salesian community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
