{"id":18132,"date":"2025-01-10T18:50:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-11T02:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salesianbulletin.org\/?p=18132"},"modified":"2025-04-22T19:08:45","modified_gmt":"2025-04-23T02:08:45","slug":"southern-california-salesian-schools-take-international-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salesianbulletin.org\/es\/2025\/01\/10\/southern-california-salesian-schools-take-international-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"Southern California Salesian Schools Take International Stage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(ANS Photos)<\/strong> &#8211; Pasadena, United States \u2013 January 2025 \u2013 Three Salesian high schools in Southern California gathered on New Year&#8217;s Day to participate in an international event called the &#8220;2025 Tournament of Roses Parade.&#8221; Comprised of young people from Bishop Mora Salesian High School, Don Bosco Technical Institute and St John Bosco High School, the <strong>Salesians of Don Bosco Southern California High School Marching Band<\/strong> worked together during the past year. The talented young musicians formed a united and harmonious group to march proudly in the internationally televised parade. &#8220;We had the opportunity to share through television networks that these schools are affiliated with the Salesians of Don Bosco, an international Catholic religious order that uses \u2018reason, religion and kindness\u2019 as keys to educate young people,&#8221; said Karen Krynen Director of Communication at the Don Bosco Technical Institute. The President of the &#8220;2025 Tournament of Roses Parade&#8221; was Ed Morales, a Salesian past pupil who graduated from Bosco Tech in 1981.
