Peace will be upon us who accept this rule of willing sacrifice.

The Alleluia verse intensifies Paul’s rule of life: “Let the peace of Christ control your hearts; let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.” (See Colossians, 3:15-16). As both Isaiah and Paul insist, find joy and peace in Christ.

Followers of Christ are called upon by St. Luke in the Gospel. Isaiah and Paul remind us to be models for others by lives dedicated to God and God made Man. Luke has asked us to be new apostles of Jesus who is to come. The instructions given to the seventy-two (to us) to prepare the way for Him are much the same as those given earlier to the Twelve. When we appear before the Lord, let us rejoice as did the seventy-two, not because we have won over evil, but to hear our Savior say, “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.“

“Clamar de alegría”

A menudo se nos dice que consideremos a la Jerusalén de los profetas como la Iglesia de Dios.
