(ANS \u2013 Lviv) <\/strong>\u2013 The Don Bosco Vocational Education Center is the only Catholic and private vocational training institution in Ukraine, combining high-quality professional training with spiritual guidance and value-based education inspired by the charism of Saint John Bosco. Despite the ongoing war and all its challenges, the Center in Lviv continues to grow and develop. Over the years, it has become a safe and supportive space for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       vulnerable youth,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       internally displaced persons (IDPs),<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       young people from de-occupied territories,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       families of military personnel,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       veterans with disabilities,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013       and all those seeking professional development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young people consciously choose the Salesian school \u2014 not only for the prestige of the professions offered, but for the atmosphere of dignity, trust, and acceptance. We often hear sincere words: “I want to gain my profession with the Salesians!”<\/em> \u2014 and that is our greatest source of inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Level of Vocational Education<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the Center introduced a new specialty: Graphic and Product Design<\/strong>, integrating creativity with cutting-edge technologies. Existing programs in IT, Culinary Arts<\/strong>y Automotive Electronics<\/strong> have also been updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing the urgent need for Ukraine\u2019s post-war reconstruction, labor market demands, and the evolving aspirations of young people, the Center is planning to expand its educational offerings in key areas such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        renewable energy technologies<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        automation and manufacturing engineering<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These fields are critical to rebuilding the nation and creating a stable, future-oriented economy. Over 85% of our graduates<\/strong> secure employment in their field or continue their studies at universities \u2014 a strong testimony to the effectiveness of the Salesian approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond Education: Comprehensive Support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students at Don Bosco Center benefit from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        university entrance exam preparation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        English and German language courses,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        sports, music, and creative studios,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024 alone, over 200 adults<\/strong> \u2014 including IDPs, veterans, and military families \u2014 completed short-term training programs. For many, it marked a new beginning and a path toward stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        Industry-experienced instructors<\/strong> \u2014 practitioners sharing real-world knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013        Spiritual and cultural foundation<\/strong> \u2014 education rooted in the spirit of Don Bosco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In these difficult times, the youth who come to Don Bosco are not just seeking a profession \u2014 they are looking for hope, for community, for meaning. And here, they find dignity, encouragement, and faith in a better future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSadly, due to limited resources, we are unable to accept all applicants \u2014 a Salesian from Lviv community stated \u2013. Many young people were not admitted simply because we lacked the capacity. That is why the project of reconstruction and expansion of the Center<\/strong> is our team\u2019s top priority. We are committed to opening more doors for those who are ready to transform their lives\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
