(Los Angeles, California)<\/strong> – The Works of Mercy <\/strong>volunteers <\/strong>at the Don Bosco Mission Center <\/strong>are honored to host the ninth monthly Burrito Project,<\/strong> continuing our mission to serve the homeless in our beloved city of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the weather becomes cooler and the days grow shorter, we are in particular need of men\u2019s clothing, suitcases, and storage bags. According to laalmanac.com, 68 percent of the homeless population in Los Angeles are men, yet we consistently face a shortage of men\u2019s apparel. It is not uncommon to see men wearing women\u2019s clothing simply because that is all that is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask for your help to spread the word: we need all types of men\u2019s clothing<\/strong>, especially underwear and socks<\/strong>. Every donation makes a meaningful difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to contribute clothing or help offset the costs of the Burrito Project, we would be grateful to receive your support. Please contact Ricardo Quintero<\/strong> via text at (909) 766-0227 to arrange a donation\u2014or even better, join us this Saturday, September 27, 2025,<\/strong> at the Don Bosco<\/strong> Mission Center<\/strong> to help prepare and distribute burritos to those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, we can bring warmth, dignity, and hope to our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness.
