After much prayer and discussion, the program team for the Salesian Youth Leadership
\nConference (SYLC), has made the difficult decision to cancel SYLC 2020 scheduled
\nfor June 14-19, 2020 at Camp St. Francis in Aptos, California.<\/p>\n
This decision did not come lightly; in fact, in dialogue with the Provincial and his
\nCouncil, along with state health officials, we acknowledge that the health, well-being,
\nand safety of our participants and the SYLC team are of utmost importance. As
\ncircumstances surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve and while June is still two
\nmonths away, the uncertainty of the shelter-in-place situation made it clear that we
\nwould not be able to animate and deliver a quality conference.<\/p>\n
