The <strong>\u201cGO Beyond\u201d<\/strong> project will show how <strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> can be integrated without compromising the <strong>Salesian educational identity<\/strong>, which is based on the centrality of the person, authentic relationships, and essential activities outside the classroom, such as the <strong>playground<\/strong> and the <strong>oratory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cParticipation in <strong>Didacta<\/strong> is an opportunity to share an educational model rooted in the <strong>Salesian tradition<\/strong> that aims for innovation while keeping the values of the person at the center,\u201d explained <strong>Fr. Elio Cesari<\/strong>, Director of the <strong>National Center for Salesian Works<\/strong>. This approach is well summarized in the words of <strong>Fr. Fabio Attard<\/strong>, <strong>Rector Major<\/strong>: \u201cAI is not just a tool; it is part of our mission as Salesians living in the digital age.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Main Events: \u201cGo Beyond\u201d and \u201cInnovation that Includes\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>2026<\/strong> program offers important opportunities to reflect on how innovation is transforming education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>March 11<\/strong> (<strong>12:30\u20132:30 PM<\/strong>, <strong>Polveriera E14 Room<\/strong>), the central event <strong>\u201cGo Beyond Traditional Education\u201d<\/strong> will take place, presenting the concrete experience of <strong>80 Salesian schools and vocational training centers<\/strong> that are integrating <strong>Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> into daily teaching and laboratory work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants in the meeting will include <strong>Google Italia<\/strong> y <strong>MR*Digital<\/strong>, the project\u2019s technology partners; the <strong>Pontifical Salesian University (UPS)<\/strong>, responsible for research and academic support for the project; and <strong>Damiano Previtali<\/strong>, President of the <strong>Higher Council of Education<\/strong>, who will deliver the closing remarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>March 13<\/strong> (<strong>11:30 AM\u20131:20 PM<\/strong>, <strong>Stand J16<\/strong>, <strong>Aula Magna MR*Digital<\/strong>), the event <strong>\u201cInnovation that Includes\u201d<\/strong> will take place, organized in collaboration with <strong>Schneider Electric<\/strong> y <strong>Google<\/strong>. The meeting will focus on the integration of the <strong>energy transition<\/strong>, <strong>Industrial Automation 4.0<\/strong>y <strong>social inclusion<\/strong>, with particular attention to young people who need a <strong>second chance<\/strong>. The program will also include a practical demonstration of itinerant teaching with students and a discussion on the application of <strong>AI<\/strong> in the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, a rich program of workshops will be held at <strong>Stand W67<\/strong> in the <strong>Spadolini Pavilion<\/strong>, on the top floor, where students from the <strong>Salesian educational network<\/strong> will present projects on <strong>active learning<\/strong>, <strong>inclusion<\/strong>, and the development of <strong>strategic skills<\/strong>, tested and implemented in classrooms and laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Numbers of the Salesian Network for Vocational Training and Schools<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, the <strong>Salesian network in Italy<\/strong> includes <strong>152 schools across 15 regions<\/strong>, educating approximately <strong>23,900 students every day<\/strong>, thanks to the commitment of <strong>2,815 teachers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these schools, there are <strong>64 Vocational Training Centers (CFP)<\/strong> in <strong>17 regions<\/strong>, serving a total of <strong>27,829 students<\/strong>, supported by approximately <strong>1,650 educators<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(ANS \u2013 Florence) \u2013 The Salesians in Italy confirm their presence at the most important event on education, formation, and innovation in the world of schooling, the \u201cDidacta Italia\u201d Fair, which this year will be held from March 11\u201313, 2026, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
