This recognition from the&nbsp;<strong>Chilean Ministry of Education<\/strong>&nbsp;confirms the commitment of educational and pastoral communities to pedagogical quality, continuous improvement, and the holistic formation of their students across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Salesian Network\u2019s Roll of Honor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the 12 schools recognized, 10 received 100% of the grant, placing them in the highest performance band at the national level:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Don Bosco School (Iquique)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesian Industrial School (Copiap\u00f3)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesian Agricultural School Foundation Huidobro (Catemu)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesianos Alameda Educational Center (Santiago)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesianos Talca Educational Center<\/strong><br><strong>Salesian Agricultural School (Linares)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesian School of Concepci\u00f3n<\/strong><br><strong>Monsignor Fagnano Comprehensive High School (Puerto Natales)<\/strong><br><strong>Salesian Institute (Valdivia)<\/strong><br><strong>Patrocinio de San Jos\u00e9 (Santiago)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>Don Bosco Technical Industrial College (Antofagasta)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Camilo Ort\u00fazar Montt (COM) Salesian High School<\/strong>&nbsp;were awarded 60% excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What Is SNED and What Does It Evaluate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>National System for Performance Evaluation (SNED)<\/strong>&nbsp;was established in 1995 with the aim of promoting improvements in the quality of state-subsidized education in Chile. SNED assesses six key factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Effectiveness:<\/strong>\u00a0Results achieved in the SIMCE national assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improvement:<\/strong>\u00a0Positive progress in performance over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Initiative:<\/strong>\u00a0The school\u2019s ability to develop innovative projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Working Conditions:<\/strong>\u00a0Evaluation of the working environment for staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Equal Opportunities:<\/strong>\u00a0Access to and retention of vulnerable students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration:<\/strong>\u00a0Participation of the entire educational community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This recognition includes a direct financial benefit known as the \u201cExcellence Performance Subsidy.\u201d The incentive is awarded every two years and is allocated to teachers and teaching assistants in the selected schools, acknowledging the role each professional plays in the success of the educational project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Mark of Salesian Quality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the&nbsp;<strong>Salesian Schools Network of Chile<\/strong>, this achievement reflects the enduring relevance of&nbsp;<strong>Don Bosco\u2019s Preventive System<\/strong>.
