His example continues to inspire young people to strive for holiness by doing everyday duties with great love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born on April 2, 1842, Dominic showed remarkable faith from a young age, even receiving his First Communion at just seven years old and committing himself to a life centered on Jesus and Mary. His well-known resolution, \u201cdeath, but not sin,\u201d reflects the depth of his commitment to living a life of virtue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we celebrate St. Dominic Savio, take a moment to reflect on his life and witness.
