(ANS \u2013 Salem, May 4, 2026) <\/strong>\u2013 At Don Bosco Anbu Illam in Salem, a significant and hope-filled initiative took shape with the official release of the Children\u2019s Election Manifesto 2026<\/strong>\u2014a document that brings together the voices, dreams, and concerns of children, especially those in vulnerable situations. More than a policy document, the manifesto stands as a living testimony to the power of participation, ensuring that children are not merely recipients of care but active contributors in shaping their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Process Rooted in Listening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The manifesto emerged through a series of consultations among child-focused organizations, followed by core team discussions that translated children\u2019s concerns into concrete recommendations. At every stage, children\u2019s voices remained central\u2014making the document authentic, grounded, and deeply relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of advocacy efforts, the manifesto was also submitted to political parties, emphasizing the urgent need to integrate children\u2019s perspectives into governance and policy frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process was guided by M. Casimir Raj, a member of the Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights, whose leadership ensured meaningful and structured participation from all stakeholders. The initiative was supported by Amala Jeya Rayan, along with committed partners, NGOs, and volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
