(ANS \u2013 Warsaw) \u2013 On May 27\u201328, 2026<\/strong>, Fr. Luca Barone<\/strong>, President of Missioni Don Bosco Valdocco ETS<\/strong>y Dr. Marco Faggioli<\/strong>, General Director of the same Salesian institution, traveled to Poland, specifically to Warsaw, for a two-day meeting and collaborative working session with the Director of the Provincial Mission Office, Fr. Marek Gryn<\/strong>, and his team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exchange of knowledge between the Turin Mission Office and the Polish Mission Office\u2014which has been active for several years and was strengthened during the 29th General Chapter of the Salesian Congregation (GC29)<\/strong>\u2014aims to facilitate the mutual sharing of operational methods, best practices, and long-term visions developed within the two organizations, both of which are highly active in providing fraternal support to Salesian works around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr. Barone<\/strong> commented on the meeting, noting that \u201coperational synergy through fraternal exchange and shared prayer makes missionary work in service of young people even more effective.\u201d The dynamic missionary work of the Salesians in Italy and Poland has long been recognized in dozens of countries, and thousands of young people and communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe benefit from it every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the two-day meeting, the delegation from Missioni Don Bosco<\/strong> also had the opportunity to meet with the Provincial of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Province of Warsaw, Poland (PLE)<\/strong>, Fr. Tadeusz Jarecki<\/strong>, in an exchange that provided an opportunity for direct discussion about the geopolitical situation in Europe and the Salesian response to these realities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the presence in Warsaw of the Provincial of the Mary Help of Christians Vice Province of Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe (ZMB)<\/strong>, Fr. Michael Kazembe Mbandama<\/strong>, together with several missionaries serving in those countries, made it possible to review and discuss the Vice Province\u2019s initiatives.
