Rooted in the Salesian values of education, innovation, collaboration, and service to young people, the meeting marked the successful completion of a two-year European initiative dedicated to strengthening digital creative skills in Vocational Education and Training (VET).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funded under the Erasmus+ KA210-VET program, the project promoted international cooperation, innovation in vocational education, and the sharing of best practices among European institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital Horizons brought together four partner institutions to bridge the gap between traditional media education and the growing demand for CGI (computer-generated imagery) and VFX (visual effects) expertise in the creative industries. Inspired by Don Bosco\u2019s vision of empowering young people through education and practical skills, the partners worked collaboratively over two years to develop resources that translate professional creative practices into accessible learning tools for VET educators and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Partner Institutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Debreceni SZC Kreat\u00edv Technikum (Hungary)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SZ\u00c1MALK-Szal\u00e9zi Technikum \u00e9s Szakgimn\u00e1zium (Hungary)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OGEC Fran\u00e7ois d&#8217;Estaing (France)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don Bosco International Media Academy (France)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Outcomes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project produced two major deliverables, developed through close collaboration among educators, students, and industry professionals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A comprehensive Teacher\u2019s Handbook on CGI and VFX fundamentals, designed to support VET educators in delivering high-quality instruction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A digital curriculum featuring practical assignments and real-world examples for students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the support of the partner institutions, Don Bosco International Media Academy Paris played a significant role in preparing and refining the Teacher\u2019s Handbook, helping translate professional CGI and VFX practices into practical classroom resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both resources will be made freely available to VET schools across Europe beginning in September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Meeting in Paris<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The closing meeting brought together representatives from all four partner organizations to review project achievements, evaluate outcomes, and discuss future opportunities for cooperation in vocational education and digital media training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Ahead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the project concludes in August 2026, Digital Horizons stands as a strong example of international cooperation inspired by the Salesian mission of Don Bosco\u2014providing quality education, fostering creativity and innovation, promoting solidarity among nations, and equipping young people with the skills, values, and confidence needed to become responsible citizens and professionals in the digital age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prof. Felix Joseph Damien<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(ANS \u2013 Paris) \u2013 Don Bosco International Media Academy Paris hosted the final management meeting of the Erasmus+ project Digital Horizons: Innovating VET through CGI and VFX Essentials (Project No. 2024-1-HU01-KA210-VET-000257409).
