(ANS \u2013 Seville)<\/strong> \u2013 Bosco Global<\/strong> has released its 2025 Report \u2013 Heroes of Hope<\/em><\/strong>, which summarizes the work carried out over the past year alongside 51,095 people<\/strong> through 59 projects<\/strong> in 16 countries<\/strong>, including Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>. The report highlights a shared conviction: solidarity knows no borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report is being released at a time when the importance of international cooperation is being questioned following recent agreements signed by regional governments. The National NGO Coordinator<\/strong> and the network of Regional Coordinators of Development NGOs<\/strong>, of which Bosco Global<\/strong> is a member, are promoting a campaign in support of public cooperation policy as a tool for reducing inequality and poverty worldwide. As the campaign slogan states, defending solidarity, cooperation, and mutual support \u201cis the normal thing to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the presentation of the report, Fr. Fernando Miranda<\/strong>, President of Bosco Global<\/strong> and Provincial of Spain\u2019s Mary Help of Christians Province (SMX)<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the face of those who present a false dilemma between addressing local needs or supporting those living in situations of poverty and exclusion in other parts of the world, we continue to maintain that solidarity knows no boundaries. It is time to build fraternity, to recognize ourselves as one human family, and to respond together to global challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Throughout 2025<\/strong>, Bosco Global<\/strong> carried out 37 international cooperation projects<\/strong>, 20 Education for Transformation and Global Justice initiatives<\/strong>y two volunteer programs<\/strong>, reaffirming its commitment to promoting human rights, education, equal opportunities, and the development of communities capable of transforming their own circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another year marked by emergencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2025<\/strong>, through the international Salesian<\/strong> network, Bosco Global<\/strong> supported children affected by the wars in Ukraine<\/strong> y Lebanon<\/strong>, as well as victims of the earthquake in Myanmar<\/strong>. The organization also continued accompanying communities suffering the effects of prolonged conflicts, including those in the Tigray<\/strong> region of Ethiopia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, it expanded projects that strengthen access to vocational education, youth employment, agroecology, food security, entrepreneurship, and quality education in countries such as Senegal<\/strong>, Mali<\/strong>, Ethiopia<\/strong>, Ghana<\/strong>, Bolivia<\/strong>y Ecuador<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, education continued to serve as a means of fostering informed and engaged citizens. Thousands of children, young people, and educators participated in initiatives promoting care for our Common Home<\/strong>, gender equality, a culture of peace, cultural diversity, the prevention of hate speech, and the defense of human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A shared commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
