The gathering was an opportunity for encounter, dialogue, and discernment, bringing together representatives of the various groups of the <strong>Salesian Family<\/strong>. The meeting fostered charismatic communion and the shared definition of the educational and evangelizing mission in service of young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants included representatives of the <strong>Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB)<\/strong>, the <strong>Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA)<\/strong>, the <strong>Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (HHSSCC)<\/strong>, the <strong>Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA)<\/strong>, the <strong>Past Pupils of Don Bosco (EX-SDB)<\/strong>, the <strong>Mornese Association of Past Pupils (EXA-FMA)<\/strong>, the <strong>Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC)<\/strong>, the <strong>Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB)<\/strong>, and the <strong>Volunteers with Don Bosco (CDB)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, as a testament to the openness of the <strong>Salesian charism<\/strong> and the richness of the shared mission, representatives of groups and communities from the <strong>Christ the King and Mary Help of Christians Province of Mexico-Guadalajara (MEG)<\/strong> also participated. Inspired by the spirit of <strong>Don Bosco<\/strong> and known as the <strong>\u201cFriends of Don Bosco,\u201d<\/strong> these groups included the <strong>Salesian Youth Movement (SYM)<\/strong>, the <strong>\u201cAgua Viva\u201d Community<\/strong>, and the <strong>\u201cMamme Catechiste.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monday, July 27<\/strong>, was dedicated to exploring the meaning and purpose of the <strong>Provincial Advisory Council<\/strong>, understood as a space for communion, discernment, and shared responsibility among the various groups of the <strong>Salesian Family<\/strong>. Participants then worked in small groups to identify the main strengths and challenges facing the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tuesday, July 28<\/strong>, was dedicated to reflection on the <strong>Charter of Charismatic Identity of the Salesian Family<\/strong>, a document that presents the shared mission, spirituality, and different levels of affiliation among the groups gathered around <strong>Don Bosco<\/strong> y <strong>Mary Help of Christians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the day, <strong>Fr. Francisco Cervantes, SDB<\/strong>, Superior of the <strong>Salesians of the MEG Province<\/strong>, expressed his gratitude to <strong>Fr. Osvaldo Gorzegno, SDB<\/strong>, for his many years of service as <strong>Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, he announced the appointment of <strong>Fr. Gerardo G\u00f3mez, SDB<\/strong>, as the new <strong>Delegate<\/strong>, supported by <strong>Alejandra Salazar<\/strong>, a <strong>Salesian Cooperator<\/strong>, as <strong>Lay Delegate<\/strong>.
