\"BoscoROSEMEAD, CA. \u2013 December 1, 2020 – Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech) will host its Virtual Open House for prospective students and their families on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Virtual tours and presentations begin at 12 noon, 1, 2, and 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Middle school students and their families are invited to learn about Bosco Tech\u2019s rigorous academic program, advanced technology majors, college planning, extracurricular activities, internships opportunities, and the complete admissions and financial aid processes. \u201cThe virtual Open House is a great opportunity to learn about all Bosco Tech has to offer and what sets it apart from other secondary schools,\u201d said Principal Jeff Krynen. \u201cIt\u2019s a chance to discover how the school has earned its reputation as a premier college-preparatory, applied science and engineering-focused high school.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dynamic videos spotlighting the school\u2019s six technology programs will be aired, including details about the newest program, Biological, Medical & Environmental Technology (BMET). BMET courses prepare students for advanced post-secondary studies in health care, environmental engineering and biomedical research. Other technology majors are Architecture & Construction Engineering (ACE); Computer Science & Electrical Engineering (CSEE); Integrated Design, Engineering and Art (IDEA); Media Arts & Technology (MAT); and Materials Science, Engineering & Technology (MSET).<\/p>\n

A live question and answer session will follow each virtual presentation and tour, allowing participants to directly interact with faculty.
