The graduates\u00a0will virtually share their educational and career pathways and answer questions from students,\u00a0the vast majority of whom are considering STEM-related college majors and careers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause of the science and technology-focused nature of our curriculum, Engineers Week has always been a special celebration at Bosco Tech,\u201d said Principal Jeff Krynen. \u201cHearing from alumni who are successful engineering professionals in a broad range of fields is an invaluable opportunity for current students. That connection to the \u2018real world,\u2019 with practical insights coming from past students, helps to better prepare our young people for the many opportunities that await them after high school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Engineers Day event roster includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John Arreguin (1992)&#8211;Director, Central Shops\/Animated Figures\/\u00a0Attractions\/Transportation&#8211;Universal Studios Hollywood<\/li>\n<li>Lawrence Cheung (1995)&#8211;Sr. Principal Metallurgist\/Welding Engineer&#8211;Northrop Grumman<\/li>\n<li>Don Gibbs (1969)&#8211;(Retired) Engineering Applications\u00a0Software Engineer&#8211;NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory \/\u00a0Caltech<\/li>\n<li>Chris Hansen (1998)&#8211;Director, Development Testing&#8211;SpaceX<\/li>\n<li>Charlie Herrera (2006)&#8211;Employee Relations Manager&#8211;Interior Removal Specialist, Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Anthony Longoria (2018)&#8211;Assistant Job Walk Coordinator&#8211;Interior Removal Specialist, Inc.<\/li>\n<li>Pete Vel\u00e1zquez (1992)&#8211;Director, Analytical Sciences&#8211;InstilBio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bosco Tech is an all-male Catholic high school that uniquely combines a rigorous college-preparatory program with a technology-focused education.
