{"id":4596,"date":"2021-07-16T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-17T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salesianbulletin.org\/?p=4596"},"modified":"2021-07-23T11:22:06","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T18:22:06","slug":"salesian-family-day-of-recollection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salesianbulletin.org\/es\/2021\/07\/16\/salesian-family-day-of-recollection\/","title":{"rendered":"SUO&#8217;s Salesian Family Day of Recollection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By: Elizabeth Gamarra<br><em>Province Delegate for Salesian Family<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approximately 70 members of 4 of the major groups of the Salesian Family in Southern California participated in a &#8220;Day of Recollection&#8221; held at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California which also&nbsp;included various local sites of the&nbsp;Salesian Cooperators throughout the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two groups were formed to accommodate the English and Spanish participants.&nbsp; The theme chosen for this Day of Recollection was the 2021 Strenna, emphasizing the role that HOPE has played in our ministries&nbsp;and apostolates so far.&nbsp; Lessons learned and many experiences adjusting to the times of the pandemic were included.&nbsp; An interesting and beautiful exercise was a reflection as to how Don Bosco taught us, by his own example,&nbsp;the importance&nbsp;of HOPE which nourishes our spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The talks were followed by Mass and lunch for all the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fr. Ted Montemayor, SDB and Fr.
