Jesse Montes, SDB – Pastor<\/h3>\n(St. Mary’s Church & School, Los Angeles) – Sr. Anna Bui, FMA, bid farewell\u00a0to both the school and the parish. \u00a0The audience filled the\u00a0\u201cbanquet\u00a0hall\u201d each grade of the school\u00a0presented special acts. One group\u00a0of children dressed in the\u00a0vocation that they expected to be\u00a0a grownups: one wanted to be a\u00a0priest, another a scientist,\u00a0another a doctor, another a\u00a0baseball player, another a\u00a0Salesian Sister, and so on.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0parish and school decided to give\u00a0Sr. Anna a special going away\u00a0gift. But what do you give a Sr. Principal who has everything? \u00a0The financial council of St.\u00a0Mary\u2019s Church decided to give Sr.\u00a0Anna $100 for each year of\u00a0service. She has served our\u00a0community for ten years. The St.\u00a0Mary\u2019s parish and school\u00a0community will miss her and the\u00a0wonderful legacy she has left us.<\/p>\n
