By Judy Alvarez, Salesian Cooperator –
(Los Angeles, California) – In 2026, the Association of Salesian Cooperators worldwide will celebrate of the 150th Anniversary of our founding in the Church made possible by Don Bosco’s charismatic mission with young people, particularly those who are poor and at-risk. As lay Salesians, we share the same family spirit and educational mission belonging to all groups of the Salesian family. To encourage Cooperators in the Interamerica Region to relaunch our life and mission in honor of our 150th anniversary, the Regional Consulta are sponsoring a formative encounter for all Cooperators.
This Sunday, November 16, the Interamerica Region will welcome Sr. Leslie Sandigo, FMA, the World Councilor for the Salesian Family, to focus and renew our “Communion in Mission.” All members are encouraged to participate in this special gathering. Simultaneous English and French translation will facilitate our family communion on this call.
The meeting will be held by Zoom and begin at times appropriate to each time zone:
9:00 AM Western Canada and Western USA
11:00 AM Central America (except Panama), Central USA, and Mexico City
