(ANS – Rome) – Following the release of the poster and teaser, the Missions Sector has published the official video for Salesian Mission Day 2026, titled “Hearts Open, Mission Alive.”
Salesian Mission Day (SMD) 2026 celebrates missionary solidarity and, in particular, the contribution of the Salesian Mission Offices.
Everyone has something to give: time, listening, energy, joy, hope… As a wise Mapuche leader from Patagonia says, “No one is so poor that they have nothing to give, and no one is so rich that they have nothing to receive.”
In the Salesian mission, this solidarity becomes concrete. The Salesian Missionary Offices, living expressions of Don Bosco’s charism, connect local realities with global networks. It is not only about gathering resources, but about building a culture of shared responsibility.
The videos can be viewed on the YouTube channel “Settore per le Missioni Salesiane” in the five official languages of the Congregation, in three versions: a video of nearly 10 minutes, a short edition about half that length, and a teaser used to launch SMD.
