FIRST LEGO Competition Professional Development

Rosemead, California – Don Bosco Technical Institute recently hosted a two-day FIRST LEGO League Professional Development Session. Thank you to all the school representatives who attended and are taking steps to establish a competitive FIRST LEGO League Challenge team of their own. What a fun way gain hands-on STEM education tips!

The mentors in attendance are now part of the Bosco Tech FIRST LEGO League Network of Schools or as we like to call it, “The Network.” Moving forward, they will help and support each other. The goal is to establish a competitive team at their school for next year’s FIRST LEGO League Challenge.

Salesian College Preparatory Visual and Performing Arts Showcase

Richmond, California – Kaylee Escueta ‘25 is one of the many artists featured in this year’s Tory DeOrian Visual & Performing Arts Showcase. She decided to call her three photos her “Nostalgia” collection.

“The yellow background is to represent the bright feeling of my childhood since I saw the world more colorful when I was younger. I wanted to give these toys a chance to shine in the spotlight again, instead of being put away after growing up. It makes me happy seeing a reflection of the good childhood I had.”

Salesian Youth Movement on the Move

Los Angeles, California – On April 14th the Salesian Youth Movement drawn from the Salesian works in Los Angeles held their first meeting at Mary Help of Christians Youth Center. Hosted by St. Bridget’s parish, the event marked the start of a transformative journey for about 40 young people and leaders aiming to connect, share, and dream big.

Summer Camps
