Salesian Cooperator Formation – August 4th

by Judy Alvarez, Salesian Cooperator

Los Angeles, CA – The Inter-America Region of the World Association of Salesian Cooperators has worked intentionally for many years to offer formative sessions via Zoom for all the Cooperators in the region. This project has required overcoming the obstacles of different time zones and offering translation for two or three languages to gain participants from both North and Central American countries. Technically, this initiative has improved greatly over the years. This Sunday, August 4th, the Cooperators will hear Sr. Lucrecia Uribe, the FMA World Delegate for the Salesian Cooperators, address the role of Mary Help of Christians in strengthening our vocation. Next year the worldwide Association of Salesian Cooperators will celebrate its 150th anniversary of founding by St. John Bosco. Anticipating this celebration, current formative opportunities can facilitate our unity and strength in meeting the contemporary challenges of living our Salesian vocation and mission.
