ROSEMEAD, CA – August 5, 2024 – Tournament of Roses® President Ed Morales returned to his alma mater, Don Bosco Technical Institute on Saturday, August 10, to greet the members of the Salesians of Don Bosco Southern California High School Marching Band and their families. The band is composed of students from three local Salesian Catholic boys’ high schools: Bishop Mora Salesian High School in Boyle Heights, Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead, and St. John Bosco High School, located in Bellflower. The band also includes talented female musicians from each of the high schools’ sister school.
A graduate of the Bosco Tech class of 1981, Ed will preside over the 2025 New Year’s Day festivities in Pasadena, including the parade where the Salesians of Don Bosco Southern California High School Marching Band will be one of 22 selected to march Colorado Boulevard.
