Dear West County Salesian Youth Club Community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Steve Alameda, our beloved leader, mentor, and friend. Steve passed away on Saturday, August 31st, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the youth and families of our community.
Steve was a cornerstone of the West County Salesian Youth Club, guiding our mission with his passion and vision. His contributions have touched countless lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we process this heartbreaking loss, we ask for your thoughts and prayers for Steve’s family, especially his wife, Michelle. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone in our community who was close to Steve.
Steve’s service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, at St. Joseph’s Church, 837 Tennent Ave, Pinole, CA 94564, at 11:00 AM, followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2540 Church Ln, San Pablo, CA 94806. Afterward, we will gather at The Salesian Boys and Girls Club for a memorial and celebration of Steve’s life. During this time at the Club, we encourage everyone to bring their best Steve story. This will be our opportunity to share how much Steve meant to all of us and show our appreciation for everything he gave to the community.
In the coming days, we will share more information if needed. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need support, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for being part of our community and for your ongoing support during this challenging time.
With deepest sympathy,
West County Salesian Youth Club
