(Bellflower, California) – Young People from our parishes, schools, and youth centers met this past Sunday, October 13, 2024, to discuss their dreams for the Salesian Youth Movement. The meeting consisted of an introduction to the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), community builders, and the vision for the SYM in the USA Western Province. 

The Salesian Youth Movement recognizes the importance of community and shared mission. Each SYM encounter—whether at the local level, a digital gathering, or a parish community—nourishes the growth of the young people and helps them discover their unique gifts. Being part of SYM is not just about participation; it’s about embracing a call to lead with compassion and integrity.

The young people in the USA Western Province are excited to build a Christ-centered community that reflects our Salesian values. We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for us!
