Editor’s Note: The following video and prayer is offered for the Rector Major, Fr. Fabio Attard, SDB, the 11th successor of Don Bosco, who serves as the spiritual father and center of unity for the entire Salesian Family. The video paid tribute to Fr. Fabio on June 24th, the Solemnity of the Birth of St. John the Baptist, the saints day which young people traditionally celebrated with St. John Bosco in his lifetime. This creative project gathered feast day greetings worldwide for Fr. Fabio from Salesian young people and elder SDB confreres. Our own Fr. Ed Liptak, SDB, and Fr. Tom Juarez, SDB’s, special greetings are included at 5:40 and 14:30 in the timeline, respectively. Enjoy seeing the love of the Salesian Family for our Rector Major expressed by both young and old.

With affection and gratitude we wish and pray that you
may experience abundant grace and strength in your ministry,
That you experience a strong presence of the Holy Spirit beside you
at every moment,
That you have that inner light to guide you with wisdom in all your decisions,
That you may enjoy abundance of health of body mind and soul,
that you experience joy and serenity in every step you take.
Father Fabio, you are a great gift to us, to young people, and to the entire
congregation.
We pray with confidence that our mother, Mary Help of Christians, and Don Bosco will always be close to you
accompanying you in every step of your journey.
