(Los Angeles, California) – Girl Scout Troop #82563 is happy to begin a new year of activities and growth for troop members and those who choose to join us this Saturday, September 27, at 10 AM at the Salesian Family Youth Center in Boyle Heights.

Last year, troop members explored a range of topics, including growth in friendship, faith, cultural awareness, space science, dance, fundraising, and personal care. With every activity, the girls had the opportunity to earn badges and fun patches to place on their Girl Scout vests. This year will include care for the environment, hiking, faith traditions, and other topics chosen according to the girls’ interests.

Membership is completely free and open to girls aged 5-18. Parents and daughters are encouraged to attend our initial meeting to discover more about our program. Participants will create new friendships, enhance their leadership abilities, participate in volunteer activities, and enjoy themselves while building their confidence!
