(Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – October 2025 –The Regional Meeting of Youth Ministry Delegates of America officially began on October 12, at Casa María de la Altagracia, bringing together 26 delegates from Salesian provinces across the continent. The opening ceremony featured remarks from Fr. Rafael Bejarano, General Councillor for Youth Ministry, and Fr. José Pastor Ramírez, Provincial of the Antilles, who emphasized unity and renewal in the Salesian mission. Delegates also enjoyed a cultural presentation, including the theatrical performance “Romance Campesino,” showcasing Dominican artistry and the integration of youth ministry and evangelization through art. This meeting of the Youth Ministry delegates marks a significant moment for reflection and collaboration to strengthen Salesian youth ministry in the Americas.
