(ANS – Santiago – September 14, 2026) – As part of its 28th year of service to those most in need, the Fundación Don Bosco has launched a revamped website. Its main aim is to raise awareness of the foundation’s institutional mission more broadly and effectively, while highlighting the importance of prevention and the impact of early intervention in childhood—key elements of its social commitment.
The new platform provides a clearer, more secure, and more accessible look at the work of the Fundación Don Bosco, detailing its areas of focus and the various programs it operates, as well as the locations where it serves. In addition, the website ensures high standards of personal data protection in accordance with current Chilean legislation.
It is important to emphasize that the Fundación Don Bosco is currently the network with the broadest coverage in assisting children living on the streets throughout Chile. This is not only a source of satisfaction but, above all, a commitment to be embraced and a responsibility to be carried out throughout the country.
One of the Salesian foundation’s objectives, therefore, is to transform the website into a genuine meeting place. Beyond simply providing information, the platform aims to share the stories, lessons learned, and achievements that emerge from the day-to-day work of its operational teams, thereby facilitating new forms of engagement and collaboration with the foundation.
This digital launch also takes on special significance because, in August of this year, the Fundación Don Bosco marked 28 years of uninterrupted service to girls, boys, young people, and their families. Throughout this period, it has maintained a constant presence in various forms and across different regions, promoting spaces for support, prevention, and guidance inspired by the legacy of St. John Bosco.
In a context where communities are built in both physical and digital spaces, having an accessible and up-to-date platform is essential. This tool will therefore enable the foundation to expand its networks of collaboration, share knowledge, and bring its mission to a wider and more diverse audience.
“Since having an online presence also means opening up new spaces for meeting and participation, we invite the entire community to learn about the Fundación Don Bosco’s work through its new website: www.fundaciondonbosco.cl,” conclude its representatives in Santiago.
