(San Francisco, California) – Corpus Christi Church in San Francisco continues to serve families through its free Religious Education program, helping children grow in their faith while preparing for the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation.
Classes are held every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Children learn prayers, Bible stories, and the Commandments, alongside preparation for the sacrament in which they are enrolled. Classes are available in English and Spanish, according to each family’s preference.
For enrollment and for further information, please contact the parish office: 415.585.2991

This year, the children are guided by certified CCD teachers, led by Yamilet Ortega, Connie Custodio, and Leslie Navasca, together with their dedicated team. Their service helps create a welcoming environment where children can learn, ask questions, and deepen their relationship with God.
On October 3, the children were privileged to hear a morning talk from Fr. Chinh Nguyen, SDB. He spoke about love, focus, and caring for God’s creation, following the example of St. John Bosco & St. Francis of Assisi. His message encouraged the children to put their faith into practice through kindness and care for the world around them.
The photos from October 3 offer a glimpse of the children’s time together in faith and learning. Through this free program, Corpus Christi supports families and nurtures the next generation of Catholics—one prayer, one lesson, and one act of love at a time.
