Judy Alvarez, a Salesian Cooperator, has been volunteering at the Salesian Family Youth Center, helping with our Girl Scouts Troop. She has been a great example of cooperators at work, using her experience and skills to contribute to the development of our program.
Judy Alvarez’s work with the Girl Scouts has been remarkable. She consistently goes above and beyond to provide an amazing experience for the girls. Her warm personality and love for children allows her to connect with the girls easily. Every Tuesday, you’ll find her offering snacks, conversing and helping to keep the girls engaged and excited about learning.
One of the core values of the Salesian Family is to inspire young people to become good Christians and upright citizens. Judy’s presence in our club serves this mission perfectly. Her devotion and enthusiasm has really made an impact on the girls. They always ask if she’ll be back next week. The girls have been learning valuable life lessons and developing friendships that will last a lifetime.
Judy’s work at the Salesian Family Youth Center goes beyond her commitment to the Girl Scouts program. She also volunteers in other areas of the center, She helps with tutoring, and lending a listening ear to anyone in need of support.
Judy Alvarez is a great example of the Salesian Family spirit. Her work is an excellent showcase of the importance of volunteering and the impact that just one person can make. We are incredibly grateful for all that she does!
