The Tech welcomed very special guests today all the way from Nakanogo, on Japan’s southern coast! More than 80 students and teachers from 上智大学教育提携校静岡サレジオ Shizuoka Salesio High School (yes, a fellow Salesian school) joined Tech students from our Japanese Language program for tours, classroom visits, a performance by the band, and a delicious lunch. 

What an incredible opportunity for our students to practice their language skills!

Those who went to Japan last spring with Sensei Ritsuko Rowe recognized several familiar faces as they’d visited Shizuoka Salesio High School at that time.

Here’s to forming international friendships through good communication!
