Salesian College Preparatory Hosts its 34th Annual Project Santa

From Salesian College Preparatory

Project Santa is an annual tradition at Salesian College Preparatory, now celebrating its 34th consecutive year of existence. On December 1st, coordinated by our CYM and our Student Life and Ministry team, over 100 Salesian students, parents, alumni, and local Salesian Cooperators spent the day volunteering their time to welcome 475 Pre-K, special ed, and kindergarten students from throughout the Richmond and San Pablo areas. The West County Salesian Youth Club was transformed into “Santa’s Workshop,” where the visiting students participated in arts and crafts, cookie decorating, carnival games, and enjoyed Christmas favorites sung by our Salesian Music Ministry. One of the more special moments was when every student was able to spend time with Santa and Mrs. Clause, and received a present (donated by each Salesian student, faculty, and staff member.) This special event truly helped bring Salesian into the spirit of the Christmas season!
