Don Bosco Technical Institute: Freshmen Summer Program

The fun introduction to their new school continues! Bosco Tech’s class of 2028 is in the middle of the first week of the Freshmen Summer Program. 

In the Architecture & Construction Technology (ACE) lab, they had a chance to build structures with unusual materials. Later today, the group will take their first official class photo, something we’ll all look back on fondly when they graduate!

It’s been a great first week with the Class of 2028! Our Freshmen Summer Experience is off to an amazing start, and we look forward to many more summer days with our new Mustangs.

Salesian Youth Movement, Boyle Heights

Yesterday, we had an amazing follow-up meeting with the inspiring youth from the Salesian Youth Movement in Boyle Heights! It was incredible to hear how everyone’s lives have been evolving since our Salesian Youth Leadership Conference two weeks ago.

Together, we’re still brainstorming and planning on how to make a lasting impact on the children and youth of Boyle Heights.
