(ANS – Rome) – With just over two weeks to go until the Extraordinary World Assembly of Past Pupils, scheduled for 2-6 October at the Salesian Mother House in Valdocco, Turin, the World Delegate for the Past Pupils of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Salesian Brother Dominic Duc Nam Nguyen, has sent them a brief video-message.

Recalling that this year we celebrate the Bicentenary of  Don Bosco’s dream at nine years of age,  Bro Dominic notes that ‘everything was born from this dream, a dream that Don Bosco kept in his mind and heart throughout his life (…) and that undoubtedly reaches our entire Salesian Family. (…) We were born from this dream and we are invited to continue his dream,’ he states further on.

He also reminds then that “The objective of this General Assembly is to better understand the current situation of the Confederation by listening to the testimonies and missions of Past Pupils around the world.”
