In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we reflect on our partners in mission. Pictured are some of our Bay Scholars attending the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon last week. We are grateful for Bay Scholars, and all our partners in mission, for their unwavering support of Salesian College Preparatory.

On behalf of all of us at Salesian College Preparatory, I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We are hopeful that during this holiday you are able to spend time with family and friends, enjoy your Thanksgiving traditions, and reflect on the people and things for which you are grateful.

As Thanksgiving Week begins, we’re reminded of how much there is to be grateful for at Bosco. Let’s catch you up on the past few days…
We kicked off the break on Friday with a presentation from Biomedical Pathway student Vince Mahar, who shared his experience in the lab alongside Post Doctoral Scientist Dr. Namdev More researching “Nucleus Pulposus Cell Encapsulated in Microgel for the Treatment of Intervertebral Disc Degeneration.” Incredible work.
Later on Friday night, our football team clinched a CIF-SS Division 1 Semifinal victory. They did this alongside the incredible spirit of our marching band who has brought the energy all season long as they prepare to be a part of history in the Rose Parade in just over a month.
On Saturday morning our cross country team competed in the CIF-SS Finals, putting the finishing touches on a tremendous season, and that night our basketball team took the court for their season opener, securing their first of many W’s.
Bosco pride is everywhere and for that, we are so grateful!!

November, 14, 2024 – What a special night for the Class of 2026 and to our very own school principal, Mr. Johnson! Tonight was monumental for the junior class as they received their class rings — a symbol that represents brotherhood and unity. What was also monumental, was honoring Mr. Johnson for celebrating 35 years of service, leadership, and love for the Mustangs.

November 11, 2024 – On this day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have selflessly served our country. Their sacrifices—often unseen and unspoken—have ensured the freedoms we hold dear. Today, we salute their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting the values that define us. To all veterans, past and present, thank you for your service, sacrifice, and enduring strength. You are our heroes, and we are forever grateful.
