Bishop Mora Salesian High School Supports Grieving Students and Their Familes

(Los Angeles, California) – Our Salesian High School community has experienced the sudden and tragic losses of four current parents during the 2024-25 school year. We continue to support our students and their families in prayer during these most difficult circumstances. Our Salesian community will continue to accompany them now and on their journey forward.

As a school community, we remain committed to making Salesian HS an affordable school for all. Emergency circumstances like these, however, often push us to seek support for students beyond what the school is able to offer in tuition assistance. We have created a Salesian Emergency Fund to assist families with all Salesian related expenses as they navigate through such difficult situations throughout their high school journey. Additionally, we have created a webpage for these families to share other opportunities to assist families directly.

Thank you for considering a gift to the Salesian Emergency Fund and to the families currently facing these unimaginable circumstances. The full embrace of our community is with our young men and their families during this time of loss.

The Salesian school community also gathered on Thursday evening, April 3, to pray for all their deceased loved ones.
