A Winning Season for Bosco Baseball

By Judy Alvarez

(Los Angeles, California) – The St. John Bosco Baseball team held high hopes as they began their season in the Trinity League, igniting enthusiasm among players, coaches, and fans. The team showcased its commitment to excellence and teamwork throughout an intense five-game series, winning the Trinity League Title. Their hard work paid off, earning them 17th place in MaxPreps’ national ranking and securing a coveted top seed in the playoffs for CIF-SS Division One.1

The Braves’ baseball team clinched the CIF-SS D1 Title as the playoffs unfolded, and they didn’t stop there. They also captured the CIF State D1 Regional Title.

Their winning season has firmly distinguished the squad in Bosco Baseball history. “From the first pitch of the season way back in February to the final out on Saturday, this team showed us exactly what it means to be a Bosco Brave — to believe in something bigger than yourself, to stick together as brothers through every high and low, and to lead the way with confidence and love.” 2

Congratulations to these outstanding student-athletes, their head coach, Andy Rojo, whose guidance was instrumental in their success, and all the supporting staff. Their collective effort, passion, and commitment created an unforgettable season. This team’s legacy will inspire future generations of baseball players at St. John Bosco.
