(Bellflower, California) – It is time to celebrate our history!

Fifty years ago, a former student from Cuba, Berta Cardoso de Montalván, fulfilled her dream of forming a group whose name—Salesian Alumni Without Borders— reflects the unifying vision behind a shared goal: to help children, youth, and to support those who are part of this group.

The upcoming anniversary celebration marks a milestone in our history as alumni. We want to include not only the Salesian community but also those who, throughout the years, have joined efforts to carry out the projects we’ve undertaken.

We warmly invite you to a heartfelt celebration that will begin with a celebration of Eucharist on Friday, August 9th, at 7:00 p.m., at St. Dominic Savio Parish.

We will continue our celebration with a grand Friendship Dinner Dance on Saturday, August 23rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at the St. Dominic Savio Parish Hall.

Admission is $50, and all proceeds will go toward supporting our charitable work.

We hope to count on your meaningful presence.

Exalumnos Salesianos Sin Fronteras celebran su 50 aniversario

¡Es hora de celebrar nuestra historia!

Hace cincuenta años, Berta Cardoso de Montalván, una exalumna cubana, cumplió su sueño de formar un grupo cuyo nombre —Exalumnos Salesianos Sin Fronteras— refleja la visión unificadora tras un objetivo común: ayudar a niños, jóvenes y apoyar a quienes forman parte de este grupo.

La próxima celebración del aniversario marca un hito en nuestra historia como exalumnos. Queremos incluir no solo a la comunidad salesiana, sino también a quienes, a lo largo de los años, han unido esfuerzos para llevar adelante los proyectos que hemos emprendido.

Los invitamos cordialmente a una sincera celebración que comenzará con la Eucaristía el viernes 9 de agosto a las 19:00 h en la Parroquia Santo Domingo Savio.

Continuaremos nuestra celebración con una gran Cena Baile de la Amistad el sábado 23 de agosto, de 16:00 a 23:00 h, en el Salón Parroquial Santo Domingo Savio.

La entrada cuesta $50 y todos los ingresos se destinarán a apoyar nuestra labor benéfica.
