(Central America – August 2025) – The Salesian School Network of Central America held the 2025 Young Leaders Meeting on Friday, August 29, via a virtual platform. The event brought together students from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, who participated in a space of formation, reflection and fraternity.
Prior to the regional meeting, the young people had participated in local workshops organized in their respective countries by the educational communities led by the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) and the Daughters of the Divine Saviour (HDS). These national experiences served as a prelude to the regional dialogue, allowing the students to share the fruits of their labor and learn from the realities of other contexts.
During the virtual workshop, participants presented projects, testimonies and initiatives that strengthen the experience of Salesian values in their educational communities. The meeting emphasized that responsibility, leadership and joy are fundamental pillars for building a more just, fraternal and supportive society.
