(Catania, Italy) – On the weekend November 1-2, 2025, a meeting for those in charge of lay-run works in the Salesian Province of Sicily (ISI) was held at the Salesian Provincial Center in Catania. It brought together the leaders and collaborators of the nine lay-led works together with members of the provincial coordination team in an atmosphere of fraternity, discussion and shared educational responsibility. The presence of the Provincial, Fr Domenico Saraniti, the Vice-Povincial, Fr Gianni Lo Grande, the Provincial Economer, Fr Pasquale Sanzo, the Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Alberto Anzalone, the Delegate for the Salesian Family, Fr Carmelo Umana, and the Vocational and Mission Animator, Fr Emanuele Geraci, underlined the importance of constant provincial and charismatic accompaniment of lay-run works, which are a living and integral part of the Salesian mission in Sicily.
