Female Students from UniSALESIANO Honored at the 28th National Biomedicine Meeting

(Botucatu, Brazil) – Female students from the UniSALESIANO Salesian University were honored at the 28th National Congress of Biomedicine (ENBM, in Portuguese), held at the end of October at the Institute of Biosciences of UNESP in Botucatu. The Congress, which brought together students, lecturers and professionals from different areas of health, is one of the most prestigious in Brazil and promotes the exchange of experiences and the dissemination of scientific innovations in different fields of biomedical activity every year. The UniSALESIANO students – Kelly Fernanda da Silva Soares, Louise Elias de Carvalho, Mariana Campanha Hilário Pereira and Yasmim Vitória Altran da Silva – actively participated in the event, taking part in lectures and round tables, and, for their work, were awarded some of the Congress’s most significant prizes. In addition, the students participated in specific courses, such as carcinogenesis, aesthetic biomedicine and neuroplasticity, thus deepening their knowledge in areas of interest and reinforcing the multidisciplinary character of the event.
