(Duaca, Venezuela) – November 2025 – The First National Meeting of Leaders in Oratories and Youth Centers in the Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN) was held from November 28-30. The event, held at the Domingo Savio Youth Centre in Duaca, offered a space to strengthen the identity and mission of this Salesian youth network. Under the motto “Like the Father and Me, We are One, One in Mission, One in Action,” over 120 young people from different Salesian works in the country came together to dream and recognize themselves as part of the same mission.

The event was led by Fr. Jorge Bastidas, Delegate for Oratories and Youth Centers, and was accompanied by the Provincial Commission, and representatives of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the Salesian Cooperators, and the Daughters of the Divine Savior. During the meeting, Fr. Bastidas emphasized the importance of the sense of belonging and reminded the participants that the Salesian Oratory is a missionary instrument that seeks to save and form young people. This meeting became a space to accompany, form, and listen to the voices of young people, reaffirming the commitment to continue working together in the Salesian mission to offer hope and support to the new generations.
