(Rome, Italy) – December 2025 – To continue strengthening collaboration between the various sectors and regions, the General Councillor for Youth Ministry, Fr. Rafael Bejarano, concluded a series of meetings with the Regional Councillors of the two Regions of America, Fr. Gabriel Romero (America South Cone) and Fr. Hugo Orozco (Interamerica). During the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of deep listening, dialogue, and proposals for coordination and improvement, Fr. Francisco Cervantes presented the results of the evaluation of the recent Regional Meeting of Youth Ministry Delegates held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In addition, a summary of a pastoral reading of the two Regions was shared, based on the documents of the latest Extraordinary Visitations to the Provinces, as well as the communication of upcoming dates and commitments. This process of meetings confirms that Salesian Youth Ministry is not a theory or something abstract, but an experience of God’s love for young people, in the style of Don Bosco, which takes shape and comes to life in each of the Provinces and their respective Regions.
