An Invite to Ash Wednesday Services from the Los Angeles Catholic Worker

(Los Angeles, California) –

Friends,

Across Southern California and the country, families are living with fear and uncertainty. The dignity of human life and the common good are increasingly threatened. In this moment, people of faith are called to speak with moral clarity rooted in the Gospel.

Join us for this Ash Wednesday service in prayer and public witness to affirm the dignity of every human person and call for policies that keep families together. Let us begin the holy season of Lent responding not in isolation, but together in hope.

Will you join us and the Spirit this Wednesday, 2/18 at 8:00 AM outside the DTLA Federal building?

Will you extend the invitation to others in your community?

Prepare for some traffic that morning. Please aim to get there by 7:45.

PARKING: As for parking, you might consider the cheap Aiso Parking Garage on Judge John Aiso St. or the Public Parking lot right across from the Federal Building.

Reach out if you have questions.
