The Lord God revealed Himself to His creatures in a variety of ways, yet there is only one God. This is the cornerstone of our Faith.
The Father showed himself as All-Mighty by smoke and fire and trembling at the Mountain of God in Sinai. At the foot of the Mountain, He appeared in fire that did not consume a burning bush. In some mysterious way, He spoke to Moses and gave Himself the all-encompassing name. YAHWEH, the BEING, Existence itself through whom all things exist.
From the Father, yet ONE with Him came and comes the Eternal WORD who loved to reveal himself as God’s SON, “I and the Father are One.” Marvel of all marvels, in human form, taking the name Jesus, which means Savior, he loved to be accepted as “Son of God.” Once He said that if people did not believe what He spoke, though He was the Eternal Word always existing with the Father, then believe the Works He did, that only God could do. Oh, how He longed to be known as Immortal with the Father.
Still, there is another who is truly God, ONE with the Father, ONE with the Son. We call him HOLY SPIRIT, our constant reminder that God belongs to another form of Life, another realm completely, and that we are created to share His kind of Life. In the language Jesus spoke, ‘spirit and breath’ are exactly the same word, something we cannot see, hear, or touch, but truly exists. Then how did he make us know him?
When Jesus was baptized, the voice of the Father sounded, the Spirit appeared as a dove over his head, and lingered there. They were a threesome, but at the same time, one vision. In the upper room, after Christ had Risen and Ascended, the Spirit came in one fire that spilled into tongues of fire over all present, thus sharing one Gift of Father and Son, their ONE LIFE or BREATH, HOLINESS, free from sin, filled with the goodness of the Kingdom of Heaven.
What is holiness? It is a state of being free from the deformity of sin, filled instead with golden life and light, a gift of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Holiness is nothing we can be proud of, because it can come only from God.

La Santísima Trinidad: El ÚNICO Dios
El Señor Dios se ha revelado a sus criaturas de diversas maneras, y sin embargo, hay un solo Dios. Esta es la piedra angular de nuestra fe.
El Padre se manifestó como Todopoderoso mediante humo, fuego y temblores en el Monte de Dios, en el Sinaí. Al pie de la montaña, apareció en un fuego que no consumía una zarza ardiente. De alguna manera misteriosa, habló con Moisés y se dio a sí mismo el nombre que todo lo abarca: YAHVÉ, el SER, la Existencia misma por quien todas las cosas existen.
Del Padre, pero siendo UNO con Él, vino y viene la PALABRA Eterna, que amó revelarse como el HIJO de Dios: «Yo y el Padre somos uno». Maravilla entre las maravillas: tomando forma humana y el nombre de Jesús, que significa Salvador, quiso ser reconocido como «Hijo de Dios». En una ocasión dijo que, si las personas no creían en sus palabras, aunque Él era la Palabra Eterna que siempre existió con el Padre, al menos creyeran en las obras que realizaba, obras que solo Dios puede hacer. ¡Cuánto deseaba ser conocido como Inmortal junto con el Padre!
Sin embargo, hay Otro que es verdaderamente Dios, UNO con el Padre y UNO con el Hijo. Lo llamamos ESPÍRITU SANTO, nuestro recordatorio constante de que Dios pertenece a otra forma de Vida, a una realidad completamente distinta, y que nosotros hemos sido creados para compartir su misma Vida. En la lengua que hablaba Jesús, «espíritu» y «aliento» son exactamente la misma palabra: algo que no podemos ver, oír ni tocar, pero que verdaderamente existe. Entonces, ¿cómo nos dio a conocer su presencia?
Cuando Jesús fue bautizado, se escuchó la voz del Padre, el Espíritu apareció como una paloma sobre su cabeza y permaneció allí. Eran tres, pero al mismo tiempo una sola visión. En el Cenáculo, después de que Cristo resucitó y ascendió al cielo, el Espíritu vino como un único fuego que se dividió en lenguas de fuego sobre todos los presentes, compartiendo así un solo Don del Padre y del Hijo: su ÚNICA VIDA o ALIENTO, su SANTIDAD, libre de pecado y llena de la bondad del Reino de los Cielos.
¿Qué es la santidad? Es un estado de ser libre de la deformidad del pecado y estar, en cambio, lleno de vida y luz resplandecientes; un don de Dios, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. La santidad no es algo de lo que podamos sentirnos orgullosos, porque solo puede venir de Dios.
Gloria al Padre, al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo.
