We Can Do It! Change Makers

(Stockton, California) – Every year, Camp Don Bosco brings together children and young people from the community for a time filled with faith, friendship, learning, and fun. Behind this dynamic program is a dedicated team of youth and adults who generously offer their time and talents to create a meaningful experience for the campers.

More than 30 youth and adults gathered on June 16-19, 2026, at the Mary Help of Christians Center in Stockton, California, to begin preparing for Camp Don Bosco 2026. The preparation days are always an exciting time. Youth leaders come together to plan activities, organize schedules, develop lessons, and prepare games that will help make the camp both enjoyable and spiritually enriching. The goal is not only to provide entertainment but also to create an environment where children can grow in their faith, build friendships, and experience the love of God.

Following the educational spirit of St. John Bosco, the leaders’ formation includes opportunities for community building, team activities, faith formation, prayer, and reflection. Through these experiences, they learn to work together, strengthen their leadership skills, and deepen their relationship with Christ.

As Camp Don Bosco 2026 approaches, enthusiasm among the young leaders continues to grow. Inspired by the Salesian charism of St. John Bosco, they look forward to welcoming the children of the community and helping them experience a summer filled with faith, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

As they continue their preparations for Camp Don Bosco 2026, the young leaders humbly ask for prayers. May the Holy Spirit guide their planning, strengthen their commitment to serve, and help them become joyful witnesses of Christ for the children entrusted to their care. Through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians and St. John Bosco, may this year’s camp be a time of faith, growth, friendship, and lasting memories for all who participate.
