(Richmond, California) – The Salesian Family rejoices in the ordination of Br. Leo Imbert, SDB, who has been ordained to the Transitional Diaconate in Jerusalem at the Church of Nations located at the Garden of Gethsemane, marking an important step in his journey toward priestly ministry.
According to a post shared on social media by the Salesian Vocation page, the ordination is being received with gratitude and joy, as Br. Leo begins this new stage of service in the Church.. The community invites the faithful to accompany him in prayer as he takes on his diaconal responsibilities, asking that he may serve God’s people with humility, joy, and the spirit of St. John Bosco. This summer Br. Leo will serve in diaconal ministry at St. Luke’s Church in Stockton.
Prayers for Vocations
The same message also encourages continued prayer for vocations to religious life and the priesthood. It highlights the ongoing need within the Church for generous men willing to dedicate their lives to the Gospel and to the service of young people, especially those most in need.
